Wild Swiss garage psych punk trio The Jackets - fronted by enigmatic vocalist/guitarist Jackie Brutsche, she of the Love It To Death-style eye makeup - will release their 6th album Essentials on Chaputa Records (Portugal) on March 20.

Serving as an Introduction to the band on the back of their long-awaited first Australian and New Zealand tour which starts February 25, the album will be available directly from the band at their shows ahead of its official release and is also available to pre-order online now.

The album is a celebration of The Jackets' 18-year band history and features their ten most defining songs alongside two brand-new recordings, "The Question" and "Rock & Roll Band". "The Question" is now also available to pre-order as a 7" single.
