STRUNG OUT (USA) RETURN FOR FULL-BLOWN NZ TOUR —PERFORMING
SUBURBANTEENAGEWASTELANDBLUES IN FULL
Tickets Available here!
Strung Out tore through NZ in 2023, and you lapped it up. You loved them, and they loved
you—so much so that they’re returning this September for a full-blown New Zealand tour, hitting
four locations across both the North and South Island.
And this time, they’re bringing something special.
To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of SUBURBANTEENAGEWASTELANDBLUES, Strung Out
will be playing the album in its entirety.
One of punk’s holy grails, it’s fast, ferocious, and
precise—a record that helped define the genre and influenced generations of bands that
followed.
Released in 1996, SUBURBANTEENAGEWASTELANDBLUES pushed the boundaries of the
genre—faster, sharper, and more intricate than anything that came before. Three decades on, it
still hits hard, and hearing it played live, front to back, is an experience no self-respecting punk
fan can miss.
Hailing from Simi Valley, California, Strung Out are long-standing punk rock royalty and one of
Fat Wreck Chords’ defining “big four.” With decades of touring under their belts, they have a
proven track record of igniting crowds and delivering high-octane, full-throttle punk shows.
Expect a night of relentless energy: razor-sharp riffs, pounding drums, and shout-along
choruses delivered with force.
This is controlled chaos at its best: sweat-soaked rooms, ringing
ears, and intensity that pulls you right in.
Last time Strung Out were here, shows sold out. This run will be no different.
Don’t sleep on it, or you’ll miss it.

La Dispute - No One Was Driving The Car Aotearoa tour - Wellington
The post-hardcore innovators of La Dispute, known for their emotionally charged lyrics and ambitious compositions, are hitting Aotearoa this October. These shows will celebrate their critically acclaimed fifth studio album, No One Was Driving The Car.
It’s been six years since La Dispute released their last album, Panorama. Since then, the Michigan post-hardcore band—made up of Jordan Dreyer on vocals, Brad Vander Lugt on drums, Chad Morgan-Sterenberg and Corey Stroffolino on guitar, and Adam Vass on bass—dealt with the stagnance of the pandemic, celebrated the ten-year anniversaries of Wildlife and Rooms Of The House, and began working on No One Was Driving The Car. The fifth studio LP is the first entirely produced by the group, and it came together in Grand Rapids and Detroit, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Philippines: “I think the change in environment was really helpful to breathing new life into the process each time we came back to it,” Dreyer says.
Partly inspired by the 2017 psychological thriller First Reformed, No One Was Driving The Car reckons with malaise in the shadow of the looming apocalypse, which has noticeably been worsened by the advancement of tech. The title comes from a quote from a police officer Dreyer read in a news article about a lethal self-driving Tesla crash, an absurd event which raises questions about the amount of control we have in our own lives. In fourteen dynamic tracks, the band grapples with the existential topic and the human need to find comfort and a sense of security in an existence where we’re often thrust into chaos without permission. Dreyer yells with a more primal sense and sings in a more refined way, and the guitars have a sharper edge than ever before. “As much as I don’t enjoy the creative process because it’s taxing and often not fun, I also think it’s the most fun that I ever have,” Dreyer contemplates. “It’s the revelations you make, the breakthroughs. It’s banging your head against a wall and suddenly something clicks in a way that feels almost divine, like it came from somewhere else.”

DECEITS Aotearoa tour 2026
Los Angeles post-punk band DECEITS has been building something real from the ground up. Since forming in 2021, longtime friends Kevin Moreno (Vocals/Instruments) and Francisco Saenz (Drums/Percussions) have self-released their entire catalog, quietly amassing millions of streams, selling out tours, and pressing vinyl that disappears just as quickly as it arrives. Their momentum has carried them from the underground to stages like Cruel World 2025 and across their first European tour, all while earning coverage from Post-Punk.com and the Los Angeles Times. DECEITS aren’t interested in playing it safe. Their take on post-punk rejects the genre’s colder edges in favor of something more alive, pulling in the color, rhythm, and emotional intensity of the Spanish-language music they grew up with. The result is a sound that feels both nostalgic and distinctly their own: moody, melodic, and impossible to stand still to.

Rivers Of Nihil - NZ tour
Pennsylvanias progressive death metal progenitors Rivers of Nihil make their first voyage to Aotearoa New Zealand.
The quartets musicianship has been honed to a fine point thanks to an unrelenting touring schedule over the past few years, including headline tours of the U.S. and EU/UK, as well as touring with Cattle Decapitation, Carnifex, Lorna Shore, Between the Buried and Me, and touring with titans of progressive death metal Cynic, Beyond Creation, and Dååth.
Life on the road for Rivers is a treat for fans and band members alike. For the most part, its very mellow, with a lot of laughs and a lot of ball-busting. Andy (Guitar, Vocals), and I have been friends for over 15 years, and Jared (Drums) has been in the fold since 2017 says founding member/guitarist Brody Uttley. Founding bassist Adam Biggs became the bands new lead vocalist/bassist in 2023, which upped the ante and led to the release of self-titled album Rivers of Nihil (2025). Traditionally, a self-titled record can signal a return to basics and/or a fresh beginning, and in 10 powerful songs, its clear that both those factors are in play. I feel like these songs are the perfect blend of all our albums, with all the fat cut away, says Uttley.
River of Nihil have riffs, big choruses, the prog, the solos, the sax and now it will have Aotearoa New Zealand

Back to Everly is a short psychological drama-thriller set in a pastel, idealized world inspired by 1950s aesthetics. Society is built around a daily pill called Everly, which is believed to be essential for survival. Its use is completely normalized and reinforced through constant propaganda embedded in television, advertisements, and music, shaping a world where no one ever questions its necessity.
This film explores themes of conformity, control, and conditioned belief systems. At its core, Back to Everly asks how easily people accept systems of “truth” without questioning their origin or purpose.
We are raising money for:
Art Department - $2000 of our budget will go towards costuming, props, hair and makeup, and set design.
Payment - We want to give back and express our appreciation to our talented cast.
Food - We want to accommodate and ensure everyone on our set is fed and looked after, as the crew is giving us their time for free
Transport - Though we aren't paying our crew, transportation to and from set is expensive. Funds will go towards van hire and gas payments.
Come along and support this awesome cause!

MOKSHA -5 Year Anniversary Gathering
08 AUGUST 2026 | VALHALLA, WELLINGTON

Five years.
Honestly, it's hard to believe.
What started as a small dream between a few friends has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined.
Over the last five years, we've shared dancefloors, sunsets, sunrises, laughter, hugs, friendships, and countless unforgettable moments together. We've watched strangers become friends, friends become family, and a community grow around a shared love for music, connection, and freedom.
Our recent gathering, AARANYA , reminded us once again how special this community truly is. Seeing so many beautiful souls come together, dancing under the open sky, sharing smiles and creating memories, filled our hearts with gratitude.
To every artist who has played our stages.
To every volunteer who has helped behind the scenes.
To every person who bought a ticket, shared a post, invited a friend, or danced with us until sunrise...
THANK YOU !
Team Moksha wouldn't exist without you.
As we step into our fifth year, we wanted to celebrate this milestone together.
On Saturday, 08 August, we return to Valhalla Wellington for a special anniversary gathering.
No egos.
No expectations.
Just good music, good people, and the energy that happens when our community comes together as one.
Expect a carefully curated journey through sound, immersive visuals, and the unmistakable atmosphere that has always made Moksha feel like home.
Whether you've been with us since day one or you're about to join us for your very first event, this night is for you.
Let's celebrate five years of music, friendship, growth, and community.
And let's create a few more memories together.
We can't wait to see your faces on the dancefloor again.
With love,
Team Moksha
Five years later, the music still calls us together.
Welcome home.

Sidewinder - Planet Hunter, Courtnay And The Unholy Reverie
Sidewinder return to Wellington, fresh from their recent support slot for Slomosa, this time taking the lead alongside two of Aotearoa’s most gloriously loud heavy bands.
Wellington’s own Sidewinder have carved out a formidable place in the local heavy scene, fusing riff-heavy psych, swamp-drenched delta blues, and southern stoner rock into a sound that is unmistakably their own. Their latest release Feed the Beast was noted as one of best new NZ releases by none other than Rolling Stone Magazine
“Feed the Beast captures Sidewinder at full power, blending bone-dry stoner-doom swagger with a swamp-soaked sound that is unmistakably their own.” – Rolling Stone
Listen: https://sidewindernz.bandcamp.com/
Joining them are Planet Hunter, four middle-aged mystics from Aotearoa’s damp green underbelly, forged in Wellington’s mould-stained back alleys. Their musty, heavy riffs feel like decades of rain, rot, and revelation distilled into sound.
Also appearing, Courtnay & The Unholy Reverie emerge from the heart of Taranaki with a hypnotic blend of swamp blues, soul, and rock — raw, electric, and ritualistic. Their live show is less performance, more invocation: an invitation to lose yourself in something dark, intoxicating, and unforgettable.

Mortal Sin - NZ tour
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN NEW ZEALAND — AUSTRALIAN THRASH LEGENDS MORTAL SIN
Having toured alongside thrash heavyweights Metallica and Testament in their early years, Mortal Sin forged their legacy in the global metal scene from the very beginning. Formed in 1985, they carved their name into the foundations of thrash with a ferocious, high-energy sound that stood shoulder to shoulder with the genre’s elite.
After years of silence, the band has reformed — returning to the stage with the same intensity and aggression that made them icons of the era.
This marks their first ever shows on New Zealand soil, and the timing couldn’t be more fitting — celebrating 40 years of their debut album Mayhemic Destruction, a landmark release that helped define Australian metal and continues to influence generations.
Joining them on all dates are New Zealand’s own Bulletbelt, delivering their uncompromising, relentless live assault.
Three nights. No filler. Pure thrash.
