THURS 30 APRIL | VALHALLA | 154 VIVIAN ST
Pōneke’s mid-week sanctuary for loud guitars and local legends is back. Join us at Valhalla for a double-header featuring two of the city's most distinctive voices in indie rock.
FELIX BIRD brings his signature "Haircut" sound to the stage. Navigating the space between 90s-inflected nostalgia and modern alt-rock craftsmanship, Bird and his band deliver driving arpeggios and vulnerable, clever songwriting that has quickly made them a must-watch in the local scene.
BECAUSE ROBOTS make their second ever appearance. They will be serving up a figurative buffet of sound—expect cozy indie-rock melodies layered under beautiful, staticy grit. From lo-fi intimacy to wall-of-sound distortion, it’s a set designed for the sonic explorers.
Come for the hooks, stay for the fuzz.
